Meet Your Guide to Personal Growth

Real-world tools and stories to help you thrive - one story at a time.

About me

I have moved often in my life. New cities, new rooms, new workplaces where I had to quickly learn how to belong. As a first generation professional, I became skilled at adapting. I learned how to read the room, adjust my voice, and work hard enough that no one would question my place.

From the outside, it looked like drive. Inside, it felt like pressure. I carried my family’s sacrifices into every opportunity, which made it difficult to ask for more. I thought I needed more confidence. What I actually needed was clarity.

Clarity about my value. Clarity about power. Clarity about how to grow without shrinking myself. When I shifted from proving to positioning, everything changed. I stopped chasing approval and started owning my impact.

That shift is why I built Evolve with Amity. I support first generation professionals who are ready to move from pressure to strategy and advance in their careers without disconnecting from who they are. You do not have to dilute your identity to succeed. You do not have to keep surviving your work.

you are in the right place.

Mission

My mission is to help first generation professionals move from pressure to strategy so they can advance with confidence and own their full identity in every room they enter.

How this work is different

Strategy, Not Just Motivation

Many career spaces focus on confidence alone. Confidence matters, but clarity and positioning drive growth.

What this means for you:
You leave sessions with concrete language, clear next steps, and a strategy for advancement. Not just encouragement.

Identity Aware Coaching

Your cultural background is not a weakness to manage. It is context. It shapes how you lead, communicate, and navigate power.

What this means for you:
We address the real dynamics you experience instead of pretending everyone plays by the same rules.

From Survival Mode to Strategic Growth

Overworking is not a growth plan. Being grateful is not a career strategy.

What this means for you:
You learn how to advocate, set boundaries, expand scope, and position yourself for opportunities without guilt.

Practical Tools You Can Use Immediately

This is not abstract theory.

What this means for you:
Promotion conversation scripts. Performance review frameworks. Decision clarity tools. Messaging that helps you communicate your value with precision.

A Space Where You Do Not Have to Explain Yourself

First generation professionals often carry invisible pressure.

What this means for you:
You are coached in context. No overexplaining. No minimizing. No code switching required.
